Meanwhile, Amit Mishra walked away with the Best Playback Singer (Male) award for the song "Bulleya" of the movie 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'.
The best story award went to Ayesha Devitre Dhillon and Shakun Batra for Kapoor & Sons.
Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has made it big in Bollywood in only a few years and was recently was seen at the IIFA Awards 2017. Other than Bollywood VIPs, a few Hollywood stars, including Angelina Jolie, activity star Jackie Chan, Australian pop-star Kylie Minogue, British on-screen character Colin Firth, Hollywood stars Hillary Swank, Kevin Spacey and John Travolta, have likewise been there as a piece of IIFA award ceremony.
But the best was kept for the last as Salman Khan took to the stage for the finale performance and danced on "Radio" and "Main hoon hero".
Unlike previous editions, no worldwide stars were part of the IIFA celebrations this year.
