Kingdom Hearts 3 doesn't have a release date yet, but it will be coming in 2018. Recently, the series celebrated its 15th anniversary, and has sold over 24 million units worldwide.

The new trailer follows Sora, Donald Duck and Goofy to Andy's room as they join Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Hamm, Rex and Sarge's investigation into the disappearance of their fellow toys and Andy, and the emergence of the Heartless enemies in their world. The gameplay trailer shows Sora unleashing a devastating array of attacks on a myriad of foes and even hijacking toy robots to use on their former allies. Kingdom Hearts 2 launched in 2005. WithThe Last Guardian and Final Fantasy 15 - another Square Enix production - finally out on PlayStation 4 after a decade of diminishing patience from fans, Kingdom Hearts 3 remains the final holy grail for fans of Japanese games. The game will also feature Pixar's Toy Story characters and levels for the very first time.
