ZTE Blade Spark is a $99 smartphone with a fingerprint scanner


This product from ZTE, dubbed as Blade Spark, aims to cater to the ultra-budget section and carries a price tag of just $99.

AT&T Prepaid has just launched one of the best cheap deals on its website in the form of the ZTE Blade Spark.

The fingerprint reader aside, there's not much to say about the Blade Spark.

ZTE has also included a 5MP camera on the front of the phone for selfie takers, but with an added bonus. It is powered by Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz.

ZTE's new Blade Spark runs Android 7.1.1 on a 5-inch 1280x720 display. On the front, it sports a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter for capturing selfies and making video calls.

The ZTE Blade Spark is a $99 Android device with pretty average specs for a $99 phone, with the exception of the fingerprint sensor on the back.

In terms of connectivity, the ZTE Blade Spark offers various connectivity options including 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone socket, and a USB Type-C port for superfast charging and data transfer. There's 16GBs of built-in storage (expandable up to 128GB) for storing all of your local files, and a decently-sized 3,140 mAh battery.
