From A Wrinkle In Time Online


Ava DuVernay, who directed the Oscar-nominated films Selma and 13th, is directing the new film from a script by Frozen screenwriter Jennifer Lee.

The film's release is still almost a year away ― it's slated to hit theaters in March 2018 ― but on Wednesday, fans finally got a first glimpse of this new take on the intergalactic adventure. A fantasy epic focused on Meg, an ordinary teenager who finds herself on a cosmic mission with these three mystical celestial beings to help her find her scientist father played by Chris Pine. Levi Miller ("Pan"), who plays Calvin, is seen trekking through the woods with Reid. Whatsit played by Reese Witherspoon and and Mrs. Which, Mrs. Who, Mrs. Whatsit, Meg Murry, and Calvin O'Keefe respectively.

Wrinkle also stars Chris Pine as Meg and Charles's missing father Mr. Murry, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw as their mother Kate Murry.
