MUMBAI-Actor-filmmaker Dhanush evaded question regarding his father-in-law and superstar Rajinikanth's rumored political plunge at the audio launch of his film "VIP 2", saying he will keep his opinion to himself.
This bilingual movie (Tamil/Telugu) "Velaiilla Pattadhari 2" or "VIP 2" is all set to release on Dhanush's birthday, July 28.
However, the trailer of Velai Illa Pattadhari 2 has attracted the fans of Dhanush, who feel that all necessary elements in the first part have been retained. "Both the actors have a huge fan base in the North, so we thought of leveraging it thereby keeping a more relatable and easy name for the audience". It is understood that the film's plot would get thickened only when Kajol and Dhanush come closer and there is an exchange of heat of emotions between them, The face-off between Kajol and Dhanush is really worth watching. This is her second Tamil movie after the 1997 film "Minsara Kanavu". It was with this preconceived notion that she accepted the antagonist's role in "VIP-2". Kajol makes an entry as the villainous businesswoman Vasundhara, who means nothing but business. The trailer and music launch of the film is scheduled tomorrow at a suburban multiplex here and several B-town celebrities, including Aanand L Rai and R Balki, will be attending the event.
"'VIP" was made as a small film but it suddenly turned out to be big. The movie's story and dialogues were penned by none other than Dhanush while the megaphone is wielded by Soundarya Rajnikanth.
