Gallagher has lined up a number of festival appearances for the summer, including Glastonbury this weekend and Reading and Leeds in August.

'They are two of the biggest hellraisers of their time and they've always had a laugh, it was always going to be a wild reunion'.

Previously, it was reported the former Oasis frontman had collaborated with Adele and Beck's producer Greg Kurstin, who produced four tracks for "As You Were".

The Oasis star, who performed at the Other Stage on Saturday, told radio host Jo Wiley he wasn't interested in seeing the likes of The XX or Radiohead perform - opting for a night in with Love Island instead. "I've gotta do something and I've gone to the dark side and Love Island it is". And then I watched "Love Island". "That's what goes on man", he explained.
