Poche' sets LSU wins mark, knocks Florida State out of CWS

For the third time in College World Series history, two SEC teams will square off for the national championship when familiar foes Florida and LSU take the field Monday. Faedo tossed two seven-inning 11-strikeout shutouts against TCU last week, including the clincher on Saturday night to book the Gators' trip to the finals.

Something for LSU fans to chew on before the winner-take-all bracket final: Since losing five straight games from May 6-13, 2016, Oregon State is 62-6 and has not lost consecutive games. Janczak, who struggled against the Gators last Sunday, struck out seven, walked none and scattered seven hits in seven innings.
