Official notification confirms results today, updates expected by 3 pm

The results for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2017 will be declared by the Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) on Tuesday.

Around 12 lakh students had appeared for NEET 2017, out of which 10.50 lakh had taken their exam in English and Hindi. Of these students, 1,522 were non-resident Indians and 613 were foreign nationals. The answer key was released on June 15 and it was available on the official website until June 16. We will confirm CBSE NEET result date and time today and update this article soon. The NEET results were earlier supposed to be out by June 8.

The apex court order thus paved the way for counselling and admission to 56,000 MBBS/BDS seats in the country. The NEET 2017 result will bring relief to lakhs of students who are anxiously waiting for the result declaration and commencement of the counselling process. The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court had stayed the declaration of the results.

NEET was made mandatory for candidates aspiring for admissions in MBBS and BDS courses across the nation. The board had announced the result for JEE Main 2017 exam on the same website.

Last week, the Supreme Court directed the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to declare National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) results putting a stay on the Madras High Court's order restraining publication of results.
