Keith Urban wins big at CMT Awards, Underwood makes history


The 34-year-old country singer glowed on the 2017 CMT Music Awards red carpet, which was held at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee, on Wednesday.

This year Underwood is nominated for the Female Video of the Year Award for "Church Bells" and also the Collaborative Video of the Year Award for her song "The Fighter" with Keith Urban.

Lauren Alaina gave a teary-eyed acceptance after winning her first-ever "CMT Music Award" for "Breakthrough Video of the Year" for "Road Less Traveled". The powerhouse performer now has the most CMT Award wins with 15 trophies to her name.

Urban was also a big victor at the star-studded event taking home four trophies including video of the year for Blue Ain't Your Color.

When & Where Will 2017 CMT Music Awards Air? It is once again another good lineup of artists who are familiar to viewers right now, as well as those who have quite a bit reputation within the country community as a whole.

Nicole's CMT Awards appearance tops off a busy week for the star, who also attended the 2017 CFDA Awards in NY on Monday (05Jun17) in an Oscar de la Renta gown, and wore a floral Erdem outfit to the Glamour Women of the Year Awards in London on Tuesday (06Jun17). Hosted by CMT's Cody Alan and Katie Cook, the star-studded, action-packed pre-show will be based around fan questions. Who's performing: Among others, Miranda Lambert, Brett Eldredge, Thomas Rhett and Blake Shelton are scheduled to perform.

She was joined by Ashton Kutcher, who snapped this pic with country star Reba McEntire and his That '70s Show co-star Danny Masterson. This year, Bryan was back in the hunt for both Video of the Year and Male Video for "Huntin', Fishin, ' and Lovin' Every Day", which was the fourth single from the album. There will also be collaborative sets from Luke Bryan and Jason Derulo, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban, Earth, Wind & Fire and Lady Antebellum, as well as the Chainsmokers and Florida Georgia Line.
