Back in April, an unclear teaser image of YotaPhone 3 was released but it did not give much in the way of design, specifications or features. According to a new report, the YotaPhone 3 has been announced at an expo in China. After reportedly being announced at a conference in Northern China, the YotaPhone 3 will be launched sometime later this year. Basically nothing, except there will be 64GB and 128GB models, with pricing around $350 to $450 (USD).
Whether the YotaPhone 3 will make its way to the United States is another question. The YotaPhone 2 was said to be coming stateside in the second half of 2015, but it was called off shortly after a crowdfunding campaign was launched to help cover the costs. The India availability of the smartphone is unknown, but the report states that it will be available in Russian Federation and China this fall.More news: Deputy AG: 'Americans should be skeptical about anonymous allegations'
And another important point: the YotaPhone 3 will release in a separate version specifically for our country. Yota Devices later collaborated with China's ZTE in September 2015 on the YotaPhone 3 with plans to launch the device in the first quarter of 2016. Both will feature the dual-display combo, with a full-color display (no word on exact display type or features was given) on the front and an e-ink display on the back, just like the previous models. However, due to production issues, Yota Devices chose to cancel the North American launch of the dual-screened device.
