While official answer key for the prelims will take some time to be released, numerous premium coaching centres and online test preparation portals do upload the answer keys of IAS Prelims exam.
The UPSC civil services examination is conducted in three phases to select officers for Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and others: Preliminary Examination (Written Test), Main Examination (Written Test) and Personality Test (Interview).
Lakhs of students undertake the UPSC Civil Services examinations each year from all over the country. The prelims will be conducted in two shifts morning & Afternoon.

This year UPSC Preliminary Exam was held on 18 June and many aspirants had attended the exam. Candidates those who qualifies in this examination will get jobs in any of the 24 services in India.

The UPSC prelim 2017 exam re-established the fact that clearing UPSC prelim not only requires extensive reading but also an eye for the details.
As per the schedule released by the Commission, the main exam is scheduled for October.
Both papers - General Studies and Civil Services Prelims - were conducted from 9.30am to 11.30am and 2.30pm to 4.30pm respectively. As per the revised rules, the candidates are required to score minimum 33% marks in GS Paper 2, while the marks obtained in GS Paper 1 will be used for screening the candidates for mains.
The preliminary examination consists of two papers consisting objective type or multiple choice questions: General Studies (GS) or Paper 1 and Aptitude or Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) or Paper 2.
UPSC permits six attempts to each candidate for the examination.
