New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge hit a home run Sunday at Yankee Stadium against the Baltimore Orioles that traveled 496 feet, the longest distance a home run has traveled since ESPN began tracking home runs in 2009.

Bundy beat Montgomery 3-2 on May 29 in Baltimore, where the Orioles took two of three from NY.

Judge hit a tiebreaking two-run homer in the eighth to lead NY to its sixth consecutive victory, 5-3 over Los Angeles on Monday night.

-The only game-related question asked was Joe's opinion on why the Orioles-Yankees games this season have seem tilted towards the home team, and this was his response: "Wow".

NY has some great power this year.

In Monday's opener, NY broke a 3-3 tie in the eighth inning on an Aaron Judge homer, hanging on for a 5-3 win.

Still, the rookie sensation with the shirt referencing a character from the movie "The Sandlot" didn't sound too impressed.

After wowing his teammates, Judge then hit another in the seventh against Jimmy Yacobonis, who was making his major league debut.

"I'm very anxious to finish the process and get back here to start helping these guys", Chapman said through Yankees Spanish-language translator Marlon Abreu.

He is shockingly athletic for 6-foot-7, with a smart quickness on the bases and good range and ability playing right field.

Judge's homer was his major league-leading 22nd, and the Yankees" 103rd of "07, also tops in baseball.

Hicks opened the sixth with a go-ahead homer into The Judge's Chambers section at the back of the lower level of the right-field bleachers.

Then again, out that far, who could expect to need a glove for a souvenir? Shortstop Didi Gregorius lifted up diminutive infielder Ronald Torreyes for a high-five with Judge.

Judge entered the game leading the AL in the Triple Crown categories, hitting.344 with 21 homers and 47 RBIs.

"He hit a line drive to right field". To be honest with you, with the strike zone for a guy his size, I believe even though he's so good, he's gonna get better. He went 6.2 innings while allowing just one earned run (three total) on four hits. "I mean his power is incredible".

The 25-year-old Judge leads all American League players in fan voting for starting spots in the All-Star Game. Starlin Castro also added a two-run homer in the sixth as the Yankees won their fifth straight. Still, Meyer hasn't allowed more than two runs in a home start this season.

Although Judge said that he wasn't really thinking about the cheers since he was focused on the close game, his manager could only marvel at them. While they did score five runs and win the ballgame, they did blow that five-game streak I mentioned earlier. Fortunately, he held NY scoreless in the second and third due to two double plays. Baltimore is hoping Saturday goes as well as Tillman's last start in NY.

They jumped ahead 6-0 in the first inning of Saturday's 16-3 win. He was coming off six innings of three-hit ball in a 7-0 win at Toronto. Gary Sanchez doubled and scored on Chase Headley's deep sacrifice fly to tie it. The over is 5-0 in the last five meetings between these two teams in NY and is 10-1 in the last 11 meetings overall.

The Orioles holds a 5-4 win/loss record against the Yankees this season.

Russell hit his fourth home run to give the Cubs the lead and help them avoid a four-game sweep. He was sent back to Triple-A after the game, and the Yankees plan to promote righty Ben Heller on Monday.

The Yankees recalled right-hander Domingo German from Class AAA Scranton Wilkes-Barre as the corresponding move.
