Police say they located the suspect's vehicle, with four men inside, a short time later at a nearby gas station. Deputies soon caught up with the two other would-be robbers in their suspected getaway auto at a nearby gas station, along with two more suspects.
Police responded to a call at 4:45 a.m. about a man with a shotgun showing up at a home.

The machete, crowbar and shotgun were all recovered at the scene of the crime, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office. Four men wearing dark clothing were found inside the auto, one of whom was carrying several zip ties.
The incident occurred on the homeowner's porch and was caught on a security camera. Instead, he went into his home, grabbed a machete and fought back. One of the men was carrying several zip ties, deputies said.
Officers later tracked down and arrested the other attackers, and all five are facing robbery and other charges, according to FOX 6. The victim held Beltran-Vazquez until deputies arrived.
Detectives identified Jorge Valido-Leyva and Roberto Salcedo-Balanza as the other men in the vehicle and through interviews, learned that they helped coordinate and plan the robbery. Ronier Jauregi-Lorente and Angel Cabrera-Basulto are charged with two counts each of armed robbery. Deputies also arrested Jorge Valido-Leyva and Roberto Salcedo-Balanza, claiming they were waiting outside the home in the auto and had taken part in planning the failed robbery.
