The first iPhone 5 went on sale almost five years ago and was the last Apple smartphone to be overseen by Steve Jobs.

For logging into any third-party app, you don't need to manually enter your details, the iOS is smart enough to log you into the apps using your Facebook or Twitter accounts.

The new version of Apple's iOS, iOS 11, will not work on older iPhones including the iPhone 5 and 5C (although it will work on iPhone 5S).

Having said that, the company also stopped this update for a slew of devices including iPhone 5, iPad 4th generation and 2013's iPhone 5C.

While the phone will still work (and it's a little bit fantastic that it still does), users won't be able to download the latest apps or security upgrades to protect against hackers and vulnerabilities.

Not everything is going to be this great after the release of Apple's mobile operating system. iOS, rather all Apple products in general, is supposed to give a seamless experience with minimal efforts on the part of the user.

Apple Pay is also managed via Siri, which is just one out of Siri's many new and improved features and perks. Using the cameras, processors and motion sensors built into iOS devices, "ARKit allows developers to tap into the latest computer vision technologies to build detailed and compelling virtual content on top of real-world scenes for interactive gaming, immersive shopping experiences, industrial design and more".

Siri will get a "more human voice" in iOS 11, and Maps will have new cities, better navigation, speed limits, and lane guidance. However, millions of users around still use these devices around.

Apple has announced that from January 2018, all new applications submitted to the Mac App Store must be 64-bit. With all the improvements and updates coming our way, it looks like Apple "cranked it up to 11" with the next iOS.Apple has announced iOS 11 at their latest developer conference and this free software update will be released to consumers this autumn.Apple has also finally stopped selling the iPad mini 2, so that could be chopped too.

So changes have been made to the iOS software now offering a new mode called 'Do Not Disturb While Driving'.
