Apple shows the iPad some love with iOS 11

You could release the best app ever and accumulate a host of reviews and fantastic ratings, but when the time comes to upgrade your app to add in new features or sort out bugs - poof! The beta includes two new features worth pointing out. The 6th-generation iPod touch is also supported.

Craig Federighi, Apple's senior vice president of software engineering, first announced the new feature at the Worldwide Developers Conference in San Jose, USA Today reported.

More advanced augmented reality capabilities will be made possible through ARKit, Apple's new framework for developers who want to build AR apps for iPad and iPhone users.

A key focus of the WWDC 2017 presentation was the upcoming iOS 11, which will see Apple making significant improvements to its mobile operating system, along with broadening its ecosystem.

The program is designed for app developers, whether they're individuals or companies.

Apple is believed to be secretly developing its own version of Amazon Echo or Google Home, apart from a few enhancements of its long-time intelligent assistant, Siri.

64-bit processors are capable of handling massively higher amounts of data at once, around four billion times higher than 32-bit processors, which make them much faster to use.

Siri will also use upgraded on-device learning to take user experiences on one app to other apps. And some other apps will follow after.

For logging into any third-party app, you don't need to manually enter your details, the iOS is smart enough to log you into the apps using your Facebook or Twitter accounts.

Apart from this, a big change that Apple brought was the redesigned App Store in the iOS 11.

The good news is that iOS launches usually coincide with new iPhone releases, so you can snag yourself a brand-new smartphone or a reduced-price iPhone 7 and try out all that iOS 11 has to offer. While manufacturing has been said to be delayed because of supply issues, mass production of the new iPhones has now started, Latvian designer Benjamin Geskin noted in a tweet yesterday.
