Motorola launches Moto C and Moto C Plus smartphones


The two color versions shown in today's leaked images are rumored to be the only ones on offer for the E4 Plus, while the smaller E4 might get a blue hue too. You can take a closer look at the leaked picture of Moto Z2 right below.

While our smartphone coverage is mostly consumed with high-end flagships, there are other (oft-ignored) segments in this space - like the cheaper tiers that Motorola has had some success in saturating. But when they do launch, they're expected to cost 150 Euro ($165) and 190 Euro ($210) for the Moto E4 and Moto E4 Plus, respectively.

The Moto C comes with a 2350mAh battery that should be render a decent backup to the entry-level smartphone. Initially, it felt like Motorola is messing up with its product lineup, but the Lenovo-owned company is pretty clear about what it's up to.

Motorola has announced the launch of Moto C and Moto C Plus smartphones. Pricing of the larger sibling starts at €119.

The official announcement tells us the regular Moto C will come equipped with a 2,350mAh capacity battery and a 2MP/5MP front and rear camera setup. A couple of months ago, the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus were launched.

The Moto C is one of the most affordable Android phones released by Motorola 2017.

As shown in the earlier leaks, the design of these smartphones point out that Motorola-owned by Lenovo is going with nearly the same design for all its offerings to be launched this year. The Moto G5 will come with a 5.2 inch HD display with a full metal body.

According to the video presentation, the camera of the Moto X 2017 will integrate the laser auto focus technology for the rear camera. In terms of dimensions, the Moto C Plus measures 144 x 72.3 x 10mm and weighs in at 162 grams. The new Moto X will also feature 3D glass as well as SmartCam. The phone offers 5-inch 854 x 480-pixel display. It will also have the latest Snapdragon 660 SoC processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB of inbuilt memory. It will also have a powerful 5000mAh battery. The 2015 Moto X series had three versions of the phone, including the Moto X Force, which has a shatterproof display.
