Manchester United look set to lose top keeper David de Gea to Real Madrid this summer but Old Trafford legend Alex Stepney believes there is an obvious English replacement.
There is a chance De Gea will leave for his native Spain, after six years in England and one aborted move to Real Madrid in 2015.
Stoke City shot-stopper Jack Butland is also mooted as a possible option, but Oblak is regarded the No.1 target in their report as the Slovenian worldwide has gone on to establish himself as one of the best in his position in Europe over the last few years.
It's suggested that the 23-year-old is a prime candidate along with Oblak to fill De Gea's shoes once he leaves, although the Red Devils could face competition from Manchester City for his signature this summer.

United have been keeping a close eye on Keane since they sold him to Burnley for a fee of about £2 million in September 2014.
However, Jose Mourinho will know all too well of De Gea's ability and will certainly do everything in his power to keep hold of the Spaniard.
Indeed, the Slovenian is one of the few goalkeepers on a similar level to the Spaniard, and, as such, his arrival to replace De Gea would ensure a smooth transition.
So if neither of Real's first choice options are allowed to leave in the summer, it is likely Zidane will make a move for Oblak. The 24-year-old has a mammoth £85m buyout clause in his contract but United are hopeful of negotiating the price to a more manageable level.
