Year-old boy at center of Amber Alert found dead

An AMBER Alert was issued on Thursday morning in Jackson, Mississippi, for a young boy who was taken during the commission of a vehicle theft.

JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - Authorities across MS are searching for a young boy who was inside a auto when it was stolen from a grocery store parking lot in Jackson.

Frazier had been abducted in a grocery store parking lot and shot in the head.

The Clarion-Ledger is reporting that the boy and the stolen auto were found in Gluckstadt, Mississippi.

Little Kingston was in the back seat of the vehicle dead.

The suspects in this case are two black men.

Dwan Wakefield, 18, was taken into custody around 11 a.m.

According to the Clarion Ledger, Wakefield was the former starting quarterback at a high school in the area. It's not clear whether the driver of the Camry knew the child was in the vehicle. None of the the three men have been charged, and authorities have not released a motive.
