Oppo A77 with 16MP selfie camera goes official

At the front, the smartphone has a 16-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture. For selfies and video calling, there is a 16-megapixel front-facing camera of f/2.0 aperture with Beauty 4.0 and Portrait Mode to add DSLR-like blur background effect. The smartphone is powered by 1.5GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6750T processor, coupled with 4GB RAM 64GB ROM.

Oppo A77 is a 4G VoLTE-enabled smartphone that supports two nano SIM cards, and a microSD card.

We're not expecting this one because the OPPO F3 was recently announced but the Chinese OEM has just introduced another smartphone.

Oppo A77 gets a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. OPPO still hasn't disclosed whether its latest Android handset will ever be released in more territories and it's still unclear how much it could cost in other markets, though Taiwanese consumers will be able to purchase it for $10,090 NTD, which translates to approximately $333. However, the official availability of the phone will start from May 26. Oppo will accept pre-orders for the phone from May 19 and will be rolled out for sale from May 26. The phone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow ColorOS 3.0 operating system and is juiced by a 3200mAh battery. The primary camera at the rear consists of a 13MP sensor with phase detect autofocus and a dual LED flash. Besides, the smartphone will offer hybrid dual-SIM support, 4G, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth, and Global Positioning System.

In terms of Connectivity, the device supports dual SIM dual standby using the (nano-SIM + nano-SIM+ microSD) slot and there is a fingerprint sensor embedded into the capsule shaped home button at front.
