The Super LCD 3 display measures 5.5 inches across the diagonal and boasts quad HD resolution.

The Edge Sense feature is mainly created to make it easier for the smartphone user to do basic tasks single-handedly.

The new HTC U11 runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box, so it makes sense that it taps the power of Google Assistant. The smartphone is available in Amazing Silver, Brilliant Black, and Sapphire Blue color options.

HTC has announced the U11, a flagship smartphone which responds to squeezes along the side edge.

The HTC U11 has an always-listening microphone set so that users will be able to summon Amazon's assistant simply by saying "Alexa". The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and the phone has a liquid glass surface made with Optical Spectrum Hybrid Deposition.

"As you'd expect from a top performer, its scores are impressive across the board, "DxOMark commented on HTC U11's camera". The model that will be launched in India will have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 2TB via microSD card.

Design wise the HTC U11 is relatively familiar territory for fans of the firm's manufacturing aesthetic; it's a nice and tidy slab, which tapers towards the edges and has all these attractive ports and grilles punched in various places. Camera features also include Pro mode with manual control, Face Detection, RAW format support, 32-second long exposure, Panorama, HDR Boost, and Hyperlapse.

In a nutshell, not only does the HTC U11's rear camera lock focus in a jiffy, it is also capable of producing excellent results in low light.

In terms of Connectivity, the device supports dual SIM dual standby using the (nano-SIM + nano-SIM) slot.

The U11 aims to prevent "fumbling for buttons", "awkward hand positions" or "worrying about dropping your phone while you pose", says HTC. Besides, the smartphone offers 4G, USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 & 5GHz)), and NFC.

HTC is the latest company to ditch the 3.5mm jack in favor of USB audio on the HTC U11. The phone comes with as many as three virtual assistants - Google Assistant, Amazon's Alexa and HTC's own Sense Companion - under the hood and 360 degree live audio recording. On the battery front, it has a 3000 mAh unit with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, which claims to deliver a talk time of up to 24.5 hours and standby time of up to 14 days.
