Hendersonville honors fallen officers for Peace Officers Memorial Day

US President Donald Trump lit the White House with blue lights honouring slain police officers, the media reported. The Peace Officers Memorial Day occurs annually on May 15 which was designated by President John F. Kennedy in 1962.

Yes, they do count K-9 units as fallen officers.

"128 law enforcement officers have died in the line of duty since 1878 just before Montana became a state", he said.
