Milan not interested in Madrid's Morata

The Blues are keen to sign the Real Madrid striker this summer with Diego Costa set to leave for China.

The Spain global is expected to leave the Santiago Bernabeu this summer and Premier League champions-elect Chelsea are believed to be one of a number of clubs readying an offer.

The publication say that Jose Mourinho is a big admirer of the three stars and that scouts will be watching with interest when Madrid take on Atletico Madrid in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final on 10 May.

Real would be reluctant to sell and would demand top dollar for the striker, who only returned to Real last summer after two seasons at Juventus. With the World Cup 2018 on the horizon, Morata is said to be increasingly impatient about his role at Madrid, and wants to be one of the major players for the team. "He is of no interest to Milan", Mirabelli told Mediaset Premium prior to Milan's 4-1 loss at home to Roma. "Our strategy will be independent of the final placement".

Mirabelli added: "Our plans will not change based on our final position in the table". We know that we must introduce players to raise the current quality level.

The fourth player Mourinho had monitored was the Rojiblancos' Antoine Griezmann, who has been heavily linked with the Red Devils in recent transfer windows.
